Zoom Whitening (in-office teeth whitening)
Zoom whitening is an advanced in-office whitening process that quickly whitens teeth without any discoloration or other harmful side effects. The process takes about one hour. However, your specialist will begin by scaling where the debris and food particles will be removed from the surface of your teeth. Collectively, the process can take about two hours (both cleaning and whitening).
After the cleaning, your specialist will apply the whitening gel known as Zoom hydrogen peroxide. Your specialist will ensure that your gums and lips are properly covered before the application. Next, your dentists or dental specialist will utilize a special light that will break down the stubborn stains and teeth discoloration.
OTC and home whitening kits are effective only for extrinsic stains. Therefore, discuss your teeth whitening options with your specialist before making an investment.
